Day 58 - Monday May 30th

I had to go to Frys again in order to pick up a few SATA to USB adapters for a couple HDD's that we were trying to get data from.   The local Frys here has a "Indiana Jones" theme.  The one in Anaheim has a "Space" theme.  I believe the one in the San Fernando valley has an "Alice in Wonderland" theme.  Pretty much all Frys Electronics stores have a theme. It's neat actually, in a nerdy way. :)

Day 57 - Sunday May 29th

Mmmm.. Carne Asada + tacos and more homecooking.  It was a good BBQ :D

Day 56 - Saturday May 28th

Round 1 as usual.  This time I managed to pick up a few prizes from the crane machines :D  If you have me added on facebook, you'll notice that I keep winning the Rilakkuma dolls.  I love 'em!

Now that I have a decent collection of them, I decided to put them on display and take a pic:

Mwuahaha.  Of course, when I have a daughter (In the fuuuuuture), these are all going to her. :D  If I have a son, I guess I'll give him my Nintendo, but he'll have to work chores in order for to receive more games. >:D

Day 55 - Friday May 27th

I went to the dealership in order to get my oil changed on my 2006 STI.  Every time I stop by, I see this beautiful girl staring back at me.  The 2011 version.  At times I'm tempted to trade in my 2006 for the '11 but, I think my fiancee will kill me and sell the car on ebay, take the money, and travel around the world. >_> ...   On second thought, I think I'm happy/satisfied with my '06

Day 54 - Thursday May 26th

It was a sad sight to see, but Thursday, I stopped by the local Best Buy in order to pick up a Micro SD card.  I played Final Fantasy 14 in the betas and I wanted to believe that it would be a good game...  Sadly, after buying the limited edition on the day of release, we all realized that FF14 was a piece...  Now, seeing it on clearance, it's kinda sad.  A whole development group was probably fired due to the horrible state the game was at release.  I can't imagine how many more will probably be let go when Square-Enix finally admits that it was a failure and puts a nail in the coffin =\

Day 53 - Wednesday May 25th

And with that, my main Pokemon White adventure ends.  I took/wasted a lot of time trying to level up and make sure I caught every single pokemon available before the end of the game.  Now to transfer the 300 something pokemon from my Pearl version, and try to "catch them all" o.o

Day 52 - Tuesday May 24th

If there's anything, anything, you should know about me. Is that I'm competitive.  At work today, a developer decided to trounce around with his new ipad game called Tilt to Live HD.  His score was about 700,000 thousand and he smiled proudly.  I took it upon myself to download the game to my ipad and take him up for a challenge.

I set this score about 10 minutes into downloading the game.  I snapped a picture and emailed it to him with the score in the Subject line.  With the deed complete, I went back to the usual grind and forgot about the game.


Fast forward 5 hours.  At about 9PM, I get an email.

This was inside. A score of 1,995,816 provided in retort by the developer I challenged.  Heheh... I smirked. I laughed... ... then got down to business.  About 15 minutes later. I was satisfied with a score that I believe he might need a few days to try to get close to.  I shouldn't keep the carrot too far from the horse, else the horse won't run. ;)

Day 51 - Monday May 23th

This was a triumph! I'm making a note here: Huge Success!!  Caught Thundurus without having to resort to a Master Ball. :D   Thank god I snagged a good woman who's willing to keep me even with my gaming nerdiness.  Wouldn't want to be... Forever Alone. 

Day 50 - Sunday May 22th

I admit it. I didn't go out Sunday at all. I spent most of my day on the computer moving files off from my SD Cards and filing them away on my computer.  While I was at it, I got carried away and tried to clean up my entire file structure.  Now my computer is all nice and easy to navigate.  I snipped this picture while browsing my old gaming pictures. I miss my character in FFXI ; ;

Day 49 - Saturday May 21th

On the way out to Round 1, I had to give my car a wash, it was dirty with me being gone for a week and a couple of days.  She looks so clean :D  Too bad she goes right to being dirty (especially the rims) within a couple days =\   Very high maintenance, just like a lot of wom... er...  cars. :)

Day 48 - Friday May 20th

Friday, we went out to Stonefire Grill and split the check for a rack of Ribs and some more meat.  And I guess a salad, but that was unimportant.  Yes, the ribs were great. Though very filling and it gave us all the "itis".

Day 47 - Thursday May 19th

Lazyness, among other things (being sick), prevented me from updating this the past several days, but I'll make sure to try to keep on track :(

This is the view from the local BevMo.  Needless to say, my buddies and I came here with one thing in mind.  It was a good night.

Day 46 - Wednesday May 18th

Back in California.  After eating unhealthy the entire time that I was out in Atlanta... The first thing I do is go to the Taco trucks ; ;  That's where I found this one... a Ramen... er Truck.  Needless to say, I wasn't adventurous enough to give it a shot.

Having a huge case of acrophobia, it probably wasn't the wisest decision to take this picture from 11 floors up. But this is was the inside of the CNN Center in Atlanta looks like from close to the top :D

Day 43 - Sunday May 15th

 Last night, we stopped by The Vortex.  Supposedly, super awesomely known for their "heavy" hitter foods.  I ordered the Double Coronary Bypass burger.  Here's what it looks like:

It's a 1/3pound patty cooked medium rare, 6 strips of bacon, lettuce, tomato, 3 slices of cheese, a fried egg on top, and 2 grilled cheese sandwiches instead of hamburger buns. 

Definitely, not healthy.  But It was good. and somehow, I managed to eat the entire thing.  Now it's time to diet to make up for it ; ;

Day 42 - Saturday May 14th

Five Guys Burgers and Fries.  This was a Bacon Cheeseburger.  It was reallly good. Wish we had some of these out in the West Coast. 

Tomorrow, I'll try to plan to check out the World of Coca Cola if I managed to have time.

Day 41 - Friday May 13th

 I'm staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, this is what I see outside my window (Not literally, but it's right outside.  But I'm not gonna go by myself o.O  After doing some very very mild sightseeing, I went back to work to prepare.

Friday/Saturday Night/Morning was the night of the big upgrade my company was rolling out at CNN. Along with my co-workers, we were up for 24+ hours in preparation and the upgrade as well.  Fueled by stale Dunkin Donuts and passing out due to the Zyrtec I had to take for my allergies, we managed to get everything done. Can't wait to come back home on Tuesday.

Day 40 - Thursday May 12th

Grille Salmon, at this Sushi Restaurant called Rise here in Atlanta.  It was actually very very good. I'd order it again :D

We went to this local place called TacoMac.  I had a chicken burrito. It was actually pretty damn good. o.o

I had to buy a new power supply for the new video card i picked up yesterday. I went to Fry's Electronics. (Big named store which is a godsend to all geeks in the US)

Of course, before you can even get to the register, you have to traverse this maze of Impulse Buys. Snacks are usually on the right, and small quick techie stuff on the left. 

Day 35 - Saturday May 7th

As requested!  We went out last weekend, while she was in town and we bought our wedding rings for each other.  Next step is in September ;)

Went to the local Mitsuwa for lunch today. Mmmm Chicken Katsu Curry!!!!

We went out to Temecula to "Wine Country" and went wine tasting etc etc.  Was fun, but it was rather hot.
